Total costs for the year were £4,497. This resulted in a surplus lor the year of £5,709. When addeé to opening reserves of £40.869 il left the Charity with reseNes of £46,578 at the year end which are all unrestricted. The Trustees were pkeased with the results for the year. The reserves al the yearond were all unre51ricled Reser4es policy and golng concern Reserves are needed lo bridge the gap befvleen the spending and receiving of income and to cover unplanned emergency Costs. The Directors consider that reserves of £8.000 are required lo meet all costs. The Trustees have revwed th& circumstances of the Charty and consider that there are adequate funds for the foreseeable future. The Tru$lees are of the view that the Charity Is a goin9 concern. Company law requires the Tru51ees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the stale of affairs of the charitsble company and of the prolil or loss ol the Charity for that year.
