The Directors are pleased to present their annual report together with the financial slalements of the Charity
for the year ended 30 June 2025 which are also prepared lo meet the requirements for a Directors, report
and accounts for Companies Act p4Jrposes.
The financial slalemenls comply wth the Chanties Act INI) 2022, Companies Act 2006, the Memorandum
and Arb'cles of Association, and Accounting and Reporting by Charities. Statement of Recommended
Practice applicable to charitres preparing their accounts in accordance wth the Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republ¢ of Ireland IFRS1021 leffeclive 1 January 2019.1
The company is governed by Articles of Association dated 0710312016. The company number is N1041911

The past year was sobering in that the changes lo the Ministries (brought about essentially post the loss of
employees, no admin base nor an associated locab'on plus the changes in Church practice since the
pandemic) presented the Challenge of maintaining a profile.
Our purpos￿ and activities
The Objects ol the Charity provide for opportunities of prayer. expbration. spirituality and faith formation.
The Charity continues to be open lo people of faith and, particularly, for those seeking conlemplalive
opportunibes. The Charity does not èxclude those who profess no particular belief.
In monitoring the objectives and planning for our aclivilies, the Trustees have Gonsidered the Charity
Commission's guidance on public benefit requirernent IPBR11. We a￿ open lo, and actively encourage. the
wider community to avail of andlor Join with us in opportunrties fof prayer experiences and for support in
Liturgy.

The consislenl effort of our volunteers in supporting the Ministries, activities is vitsl. The Trustees greatly
appreciate this support. Efforts in selling Christmas Cards, Lenlen Ca￿ndarS and Creative Craf￿ork, as well
as the recyeling of clothing, help our m(￿eSt fundraising aclivilies.

Financial revlew
During the year totsl income of £10.206 was received. Total costs for the year were £4,497. This resulted in
a surplus lor the year of £5,709. When addeé to opening reserves of £40.869 il left the Charity with reseNes
of £46,578 at the year end which are all unrestricted.
The Trustees were pkeased with the results for the year. The reserves al the yearond were all unre51ricled
Reser4es policy and golng concern
Reserves are needed lo bridge the gap befvleen the spending and receiving of income and to cover
unplanned emergency Costs. The Directors consider that reserves of £8.000 are required lo meet all costs.
The Trustees have revwed th& circumstances of the Charty and consider that there are adequate funds for
the foreseeable future. The Tru$lees are of the view that the Charity Is a goin9 concern.

Plans for future perfods
The Trustees of the Charity remain passDnale about its Objectives and Activities and yel sense the need lo
relaunch. Immediate consideration is needed by the Charity lo address the name of the Charity and lo
promote the work of the Charity. The Charrty is committed lo offering refie¢live processes for those
hungenng for spiritual support.

The Charity Trustees (who are also the directors of the Thornhill Ministries Ltd for the purposes of company
lawl are responsible for preparing a Trustees, Annual Report and financial slalemenls in accordance with
applicable law and United Kingdom Accounb'ng Stsndards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting
Praclicel.
Company law requires the Tru51ees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true
and fair view of the stale of affairs of the charitsble company and of the prolil or loss ol the Charity for that
year.
In preparing these the Trustees are required lo..

The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accountsng records which disclose with reasonable
accuracy al any time the financial p05rtion of the Charity and lo enable them lo ensure that the financh81
statements comply with the Companies Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of
the Charity and hence for tsking reasonable steps fof the prevention and detection of fraud and other
irregularities.
The report has been prepa￿d in accordance with the special provis￿nS for small companies under part 15
of the Companies Act 2006.
