DRC is established to: 2.1 Advance the arts and culture in the Dungiven and district area of Co L’Derry and its environs (hereinafter described as the ‘area of benefit’) by any charitable means, but in particular by facilitating accessible arts and craft workshops and exhibiting locally produced crafts; 2.2 To advance citizenship and community development for the inhabitants of the area of benefit, and to improve the conditions of life for the said inhabitants without distinction of age, gender, race, political, religious or other opinion by any charitable means including: ? Aesthetically regenerating the area of benefit through the use of art; ? The delivery of positive community events; ? The provision of volunteering opportunities and training and; ? The arrangement of contact meetings with voluntary and statutory organisations to improve the services and facilities for the public benefit.
