Purpose E The dir¢ct benefit arising from this purpose is an increased knowledgc of healthy lrfestyle options through health promotion progr8mmcs, such as weight management and healthy eating programmes. Also, the reduction of stress througlk the PTovision of compEem¢ntary thcrapies. counselling and lif¢ coaching. These benefits are evidenced through regular ¢valuation of th¢ services that wc provide and through lh¢ use of feedback fi'om participants involved, and our Annual G¢neral Mcctitig report which capr¢S our outcomes. With regards to harm, w¢ ty lo mitiga1¢ any potential harni by using fully qualified counsellors and tlierapists who are fully insured for the work that they cary out. The beneficileS of this purpose are all women and theii, families living the area of benefit. From tim¢ lo time, a private benefit may arAs¢ if committee members who are also members and volunteers ond therefore are entitled to avail of these Services, but this benefit is purely incidental. To ensure fairness, they are placed on a waiting list and do not receive any preferei)tial tr¢8knent. Flnanclal Revlew The Trustees are satl8fi¢d with thc financial position of the Charity at the year-¢ttd 31 March 2023. The Charity has managed its incoming resources effectively in the year under review. Th¢ balance of funds as at 31 March 2023 is £2,306,150 {2022 - £2,328,959). These are held as irstricted and unr¢stricted funds. Unrestricted funds are available for us¢ at the discretion of the TDJ8tee8 in fi)rtheranc¢ of the gener81 objectiV¢8 of th¢ charity and which have not been designat¢d for other purposes. Restt'icted funds ar¢ g¢nei?ted fiom restricted grants and donation3 received from funding bodies and the related expenditui'e. Such fund8 are Itstricted in their use as determined by each individual funding body. The principal funding in the year under revi¢w was d1ved from the Department for CoinmuDiti¢g (Northeni Ireland). Further funding was received froin Belf881 City Council, Halifax, BBC Children in Need, Henry Sinitb Foundation, NI Housing Ex¢cutive and the Public Health Ag¢ncy. Trustee$?
