Pobal Éanna - CLG Naomh Éanna - Nai8(xiil a1 Gaelscdl Éanna Crol Eanna Cumann Oige Éanna CLG Naotnh Éanna is the original and largest organisation viithin Pobal Éanna. 1115 w85 established in 1956 by a small band of mM[[ted Gaels who, right fr the Winning. considered the development of the Irish languag8 to be of high importanc8. despite limng in a very hostile environment Naomh Èanna has gone from strenglh to strength and n¢)w boasts atrnost 1000 members, 700 of %thorn are underth8 age of elghteen. As a seGond generation of Gaels reach&J &lulth)od and conSiderj ralslng their own families, the commitment to Irlsh medium education of the site developed aThJ in September 2004 Nalscoil Éanna 0rned its doors Gaelscoil Éanna following in September 2007.The staff and volunteer board of NalscDil and Gaelscoil have developed the academic and pa51oral reputation of both to the point that they now collectively educata PUFiIs.

As a dirert response to these ernerging need4 Crol Éanna was formed to d81iver a range of community development services to the growlng Irlsh Language Community. Crol Éanna Is establlshed lo establlsh and support the growirvJ Irish Language Community in its locslty. Crol Éanna also advances and disseminatss knowledge of the Irish larKJuage and cultur6 through extra-curricular dasses and events. These are held u5ualy during evenings and weèkends. Crol Eanna is not politically motivated or inenced and does not provide scholarsh5 for named indlviduals or founders kln. Th8 benefrts of Crol Éanna's wtposes are Intended for the wblic in general. Althowh we can id8ntify that the sèctton of tha public that can benefit from Ihe charity is tho s10 of Feople who intend lo learn more about th@ Irish language and cutture. A common characteristic shared by the interest in delivering ¢ommunity led and based servicBs through the medium of Irish. Their di3posilion to the Irish language is changed, thalr g8rEral ethjcation is improved and thelr appreation of Irish language and ltUre is increased.
