Jennrfer Magee, Joan Thompson, Sylvie Pader, Henrietta Lafferson, Ida Lafferson, Sally Conway, Jack Murphy, Guy Wilkinson, Mhairi Walton, Michael McHugh, Cathal Doherty, James Magee, Leo Murphy, Wesley Thompson & Kathleen Green CHAIRPERSONS WELCOME: Joan Thompson welcomed everybody to our very 1 st AGM. As this is our first there are no previous minutes or reports from the secretary or treasurer. CHAIRPERSONS REPORT: Joan welcomed everyone to the first AGM of SWEDES, she said she was pleased to see such a good turnout and welcomed some new fa￿S and hoped they would continue to attend our group meetings during the coming year. The group has had a very successful year. One of our highlights being the BBQ evening at Jennifer Magee's home in August. Despite the rain we played games and ate a very tasty BBQ. We had a very successful 9 months in the Social Hub in the Clinton Centre where we had access to computers and printers. The Dropin was great as everyone met together, dank coffee and were able to look up information on the intemet. It was a great place to practice sign language and learn new signs both from our signing members and from the Hands That Talk DVD. We thank the Social Enterprise club for alSowing us to use the ￿ntre each Monday aftemoon. We had games nights, speakers including information on bus travel and infomation from Citizens Advice. In December we had our very enjoyable Christmas Dinner and in June we had a trip up to Enniskillen Townhall where we were shown around by Frankie Roofe who retired from his job as caretaker recently. He is a local historian and gave lots of interesting information about Enniskillen in the past. Some of our members V￿re able to help sign the information to our deaf members. We were even all0v￿d to sit in the Fermanagh District Councils Chamber. Joan thanked the committee especially Jennrfer and Catriona for all their hard work during the year to enable the group to function successfully. She wished the group continuing success in the coming year, she then declared all posts vacant and handed over to Sylvie to chair the election of officers. SECRETARIES REPORT: Catriona Johnston said that as this was is our very 1 st AGM there is no previous report. TREASURERS REPORT". Jennifer Magee checked that everyone had a copy of the accounts and reported that the balance at the end of December 2016 was £82.00 ADOPTION.. The acceptance of the accuracy of the chairpersons and treasurers report were: PROPOSED: Catrina Johnson SECONDED: Jennifer Magee Agreed by all present.

Was agreed by everybody present. Sylvie thanked everybody who has filled the new posts and welcomed them to their new positions. Sylvie wished the group continued success. Roberta the new Chairperson thanked the outgoing committee and welcomed everybody to the new Committee. Roberta is looking forward to the nexi year with the group and will see everybody at the next meeting in February 2017 in the Aisling Centre at 7pm.
