The ¢v¢n¢s in¢luded a Seavenger HunL Golf EvenL Iokm and 5km Race & Fun Ru Colour Fun Run, Dan¢¢ Display, RNLI Water Safety Edu¢ation Visit, Yog4 pl1¢ in the Park, OF¢n-air inem4 Pub Qui4 Sand Desi Cycle Races, Raft Races, Falnily Fun Day (to include events for those ¢hildr¢n with s¢ns0ry issues) and a Float & Fancy-Dress PaTade tceolnpauied by pipe ballds. We also held Paint and Sip sesskons with an Art Psychotherdpist this year &5 our village has b¢en d¢v&4tated in recent years Witb a number of people laking their own lives. Association m¢¢tings are held usually monthly, bul prior to major fim¢tions they be¢ome fortnightly or ¢v¢n more r¢gu]ar if requireiL B¢n¢ficiarieg The As30ciation h&5 regard to the Cornmission'5 Public benefit whereby: l.The purposes of the Association are demonstrated and are beneficial to the whole commullity. 2.The public benefits are for the whole c¢xnmunity in I¢Tms of s¢xial w¢lfar¢. creativity, r¢cr¢ation, and leisure- time occupatio Positive feedback from members ofthe community via card5 ofgratitud¢> personal contact and social media posts were very encouraging and uplifting. It is ¢lvdr from the positive feedback andnurnbers att¢nding that the Ardglass Festival is becoming mLYe and more popular.

They have referred to the guidance contained in the chity Commission's general guidance on public benefit when reviewing the aims and objectives and in planning its future activitie5. Chrislmu 2024 once again involved tnany mall hours erecting the lighting in the village and the ChTiSttn&8 Tree. Ardglass looked rn2gical with the lighting displays iti the village. We decided to do sotnething a bit different this year nd held a cinerna event at the sehool with a showing of the ever-FN)pular"Home Alone" movie. This was well attended by the Ial cornfftunity &s well u those from outside the Village. Th¢ children a]so had a ChristtD&¥ ¢arol $ingaloDg with Regina. The Sutnmer then seen the rebmi of our 5 Day Sutnmtt festival tn August 2025 with a jarn-packed progralle of evenis for all the family opening with our ever-popular Ioktll & 5km Road races, Float Parade aroulld tbe village. to a Falnily Funday at the Meadow with inflatables, fair- ground attractions attd f(x)d and beverage vaos. Thi% year we had a few event5 that catered specifically for thildren with sensory issues and this was very welcotned by the children and their parents. The above evellts were fmanced by various ftmdraising events includtng Quiz and Bingo night4 Donations, and business sponsorship while several grants were success11Y applied for and secured.

The AGM provides a fmancial surnm of the yvd aetiviti¢s and plans are put in place forthe upcoming year. Attendees are encouTaged to make suggestions for artistic and educational activities which they feel would make a Posiiive impaet on the community. Reserves polley Due to the unpredictsbijity of the income receivable by the charity it is the policy of Ardglass Festival Association to intaill a balance on unrestricted fidS to cover emergency SIatIOnS that arise from time to tijne and to also enable the charity to continue deliver its service effectively. The present level of reseThes available to the charity is £17,359. The charity plans contilluillg the activities outlined above in the forthcoming years subject to satisfying fimding arrangements.
