The day to day management of the charity is carried by the Chairperson, Treasurer and SeGretary and the Irustees meet on a regular basis to inform and discuss all matters concerning the charity to enable the trustees to make all the pdicy decision. Review of activities and achievements The Statement of Receipts and Payments on Page 7 sets out the results for the year. The purpose of the funds is outlined in the notes to the linancial statements. The Trustees are indebted to the funding bodies for their support and the opportunities the funding provides to the group. The group were successful in securing funding from Derry City and Strabane District Council grant aid to help towards costs for the 1 Oth annual community festival. The festival included a Tractor and Truck Display which attracted in excess of 150 vehicles. youth sports activities. Old Peoples Christmas Dinner and the annual "Festival of Lights ' event on Newtownstewart Main Street. It proved to be a great family event bringing large crowds of up to 2,000 people to the town to spectste, participate and enjoy. The group worked with various other local Groups including St Patricks Parent Support Group , local sports Clubs Two Castles Boxing Club and Naomh Eoghan GAA as well as Newtownstewart Young Farmers Club. As with all community groups in Northern Ireland the group continues to have trouble in obtaining long term funding. However, in view of the grants awarded, fundraising and with volunteer support, the trustees are confKJent that the group can continue its activities and therefore satisfied that is appropriate for the financial statement to be prepared on the going concern basis. We help reduce anti community activities in the locality and help ease sectarian tensions as the youlh activity are integrated as a result of the sport related programs TCCDA run. Our annual Community festival has also engaged people from isolated rural backgrounds and helped integrate them with the local village's inhabitants. The public benefit will be demonstrated through feedback from Ihose that attend and participants in events and activities.
