This purpose does not lead to harm. The benefit is for children at Fullerton House Preparatory school. The trustees (PTA committee members) are always parents of pupils at the school, and hence enjoy the benefits mentioned above in the same way as all other beneficiaries. The trustees maintain that it is necessary to ensure these benefits are provided to all beneficiaries on an incidental basis. There is no immediate need or wish to change the way in which money is raised the events are held not only to raise money, but to give the children their place and ultimately some fun, and to facilitate friendships amongst the parents. So long as this formula continues to work, the PTA will doubtless continue in its current form.
