Having faith in the Christian religion 8ives people a sense of hope and a sense of wellbeing and togethemess. These benefrts are evidenced through evangelism prayer events and meetings and street outreach activities. Through our activities we show care and love and encourage the people we help to embra God's love. We have had testimonials and feedback from the community about the faith clinic called Healings from Above. Through this programme people who find it difficult to give up to Alcohol and Substance Addition have been receNing deliverance and healing5 by Divine touch. Summary of the Main Activities Undertaken for the Publlc Benefrt in Relation to the Charlty's Objects: We have a centre which we provide counselling and provide information, eg we have held seminars to help drug awareness to mothers and families to help them understand the damage each drug does. We also run a street outreach programme We organised group therapy plays which is an essential role in substance abuse recovery by providing a space where individuals can share experiences. learn new coping strategies, and support each otherfs journey to sobriety. Structured activities within these 8roups are highly effective in promoting personal 8rowth, enhancin8 self- awareness, and building strong community bonds that can bolster resilien. Encouraging member5 to share their personal stories helps build trust. empathy, and connection within the 8roup. Members realize theVre not alone in their journey by discussing their challenges, victories, and motNations for recovery. This activity fosters a sense of community and support. Builds trust and empathy among group members. Helps individuals feel less isolated in their recovery. Provides insights from shared experiences. Encourages openness and emotional vulnerability. This is all evidenced through numbers of people that we have helped. We plan in the future to develop a Trainin8 and Learning programme and a drop-in centrelcafe where people can meet and talk about their problems. and we also plan to reach out to the sick. Financial Review Brief Statement of the Charity's Policy on Reserves: It is the policy of Christ Foundation Counselling Ministry to hold in reserves the equivalent of two months general running costs. It is also our policy to hold an amount for likely outreach works at the next quinquennial inspection. In view of the forthcoming street retreat next year we have allocated £500 to reserves to cover our involvement. This policy will be reviewed in twelve months, time apart from the Learning and training project element which will be reviewed in six monthg time when the situation is clearer.
