Objectives & Activities
Summary of the Objectives of the Charity as set out in its Governing Document:
The direct benefit which flows from the promotion of the Christian faith is that people's lives are enriched as they
are encouraged to live
life in the knowledge that God loves them. Having faith in the Christian religion 8ives people a sense of hope and a
sense of wellbeing and togethemess. These benefrts are evidenced through evangelism prayer events and meetings
and street outreach activities. Through our activities we show care and love and encourage the people we help to
embra￿ God's love. We have had testimonials and feedback from the community about the faith clinic called
Healings from Above. Through this programme people who find it difficult to give up to Alcohol and Substance
Addition have been receNing deliverance and healing5 by Divine touch. Purpose 2 The direct benefit which flows
from the relief of poverty, hardship and distress is that by providin8 assistance to our beneficiaries. we are givin8
them the basics in lrfe, food for nourishment. clothes to keep them warm and counselling to lend a listening ear to
let them know they are not alone. which currently involves 80ing out on the streets on a Friday evenin8 in groups to
show care and love to people sleeping rough tn the street and to provide basic essentials.

Summary of the Main Activities Undertaken for the Publlc Benefrt in Relation to the
Charlty's Objects:
We have a centre which we provide counselling and provide information, eg we have held seminars to help drug
awareness to mothers and families to help them understand the damage each drug does. We also run a street
outreach programme
We organised group therapy plays which is an essential role in substance abuse recovery by providing a space where
individuals can share experiences. learn new coping strategies, and support each otherfs journey to sobriety.
Structured activities within these 8roups are highly effective in promoting personal 8rowth, enhancin8 self-
awareness, and building strong community bonds that can bolster resilien￿.
Encouraging member5 to share their personal stories helps build trust. empathy, and connection within the 8roup.
Members realize theVre not alone in their journey by discussing their challenges, victories, and motNations for
recovery. This activity fosters a sense of community and support.

The trustees declare that they have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public
benefit published by the commission in exercising their powers or duties.
Summary of the Main Achievements of the Charity for the Year:
We have a centre which we provide counsellin8 and provide information, eg we have held seminars to help with
dru8 awareness to mothers and families to help them understand the damage each drug does.
We also ran a street outreach programme which currently involves 80in8 out on the streets on a Friday evenin8 in
groups to show care and love to people sleeping rough in the street and to provide essentials.

This is all evidenced through numbers of people that we have helped. We plan in the future to develop a Trainin8
and Learning programme and a drop-in centrelcafe where people can meet and talk about their problems. and we
also plan to reach out to the sick.
Financial Review
Brief Statement of the Charity's Policy on Reserves:
It is the policy of Christ Foundation Counselling Ministry to hold in reserves the equivalent of two months general
running costs. It is also our policy to hold an amount for likely outreach works at the next quinquennial inspection. In
view of the forthcoming street retreat next year we have allocated £500 to reserves to cover our involvement. This
policy will be reviewed in twelve months, time apart from the Learning and training project element which will be
reviewed in six monthg time when the situation is clearer.
