Activities And Performance In setting our objectives and Planning Our actiwties for the year the tru8tee8 have given careful consideration to the Charty Commtssion Nl's guidance on public b8n8fit to 8nsure that the activities have helped to achieve the charity'8 purposes end providè a benellt to the beneficiaries. We run our monthly Luncheon Club where we wero abl8 to put on aetivltles such as arm chair aero.¢8. We held our 8nnuel Chri8tm8s Dinner. Our Bright Stars Youth Club was well attended during the year and we took thg children horse ridingto She8ns Horse Farm, Armoy. We enjoyed severaltrips during the ye8r. The accounts have been prepared on the receipts and payments basis, under the historiGal cost conventlon and In accordance with the charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations (Northern Irel8ndl 2015 which are applicable to the tinanci81 years of reostered charities beginning on or after 01 January 2016 01 their date of registration with the Charity Commission for Northern IreLand. The charitable activities are entirely dependent on the ¢ontinu8tlon of grant aid and voluntary donations. as wellastrading revenues. As a consequence. the goingconcern basis is dependent on thefutureflow ofthe3e uncertain funding$treams. Accordingly, thoTru8t8es. after reviewing the financial forecasts for future periods are satisfied th8t, at the time of approving the financial statements, it is appropriate in adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.
