BallykeelTogether Development Assoclation is established forthe advancement of the
community development and 8CtiV8 ¢itizenship for the public benefit of the inhabitants of the
Ballykeel ward.
Activities And Performance
In setting our objectives and Planning Our actiwties for the year the tru8tee8 have given careful
consideration to the Charty Commtssion Nl's guidance on public b8n8fit to 8nsure that the
activities have helped to achieve the charity'8 purposes end providè a benellt to the
beneficiaries.
We run our monthly Luncheon Club where we wero abl8 to put on aetivltles such as arm chair
aero￿.¢8.
We held our 8nnuel Chri8tm8s Dinner.
Our Bright Stars Youth Club was well attended during the year and we took thg children horse
ridingto She8ns Horse Farm, Armoy.
We enjoyed severaltrips during the ye8r.

The accounts have been prepared on the receipts and payments basis, under the historiGal cost
conventlon and In accordance with the charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations (Northern
Irel8ndl 2015 which are applicable to the tinanci81 years of reostered charities beginning on or
after 01 January 2016 01 their date of registration with the Charity Commission for Northern
IreLand.
The charitable activities are entirely dependent on the ¢ontinu8tlon of grant aid and voluntary
donations. as wellastrading revenues. As a consequence. the goingconcern basis is
dependent on thefutureflow ofthe3e uncertain funding$treams. Accordingly, thoTru8t8es.
after reviewing the financial forecasts for future periods are satisfied th8t, at the time of
approving the financial statements, it is appropriate in adopt the going concern basis in
preparing the financial statements. Other th8n these matters, the Trustees are not aware of any
material uncertainties about the Charity's ability to continue as a going concern.
Unrestricted funds are available for use at the discretion of the Trustees in furtherance of the
general oblectives of the Charity.
Restrlcted funds are subjected to restrictions on th8lr 6XP8nditure Impos8d by the donor or
thfough the terms of an appeal or as implied by law.
Llabllltylo Taxallon
The Trustees consider that the charity s#tisfi88 the test S8t out in Paragraph 1 Schedule 6 of the
Finance Act 2010 for UK corporation tax purposes. Accordingly. the Charity is potentially
exempt from taxatlon In re8peet of income or capital gains received.
If upon dissolution of the Charity there remains any assets. after satisfaction of all debts and
liabilities. the a$sets represented by the accumulated fund shall be transferred to some other
Charitable body or bodies whom have similar objectlV8S to the Charity.
