Ballykeel Together Development Association is established for the advancement of the community development and active citizenship for the public benefft of the inhabitsnts of the Ballykeel ward. Activities and Perforniance In setting ourobjectives and planning our activitlesfortheyearthe trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission Nl's guidance on public benefit to ensure thatthe activities h8ve helped to achieve the charty's purposes and provide a benefit to the beneficiaries. We run our monthly Luncheon Clubwhere we were able to put on activities such as arm chair aerobics and singing. We held our annual Christmas Dinner. Our Bright Starsyouth Club was well attended duringthe year and wetookthe children horse ridingto Sheans Horse Farm. Armoy. We held a Chlldrens party and enjoyed severaltrips during the year. Duringthe year we secured fundingfrom the Department forcommunities and The Community Foundation Nl. Ourtotal receipts forthe year amounted to £17,515.50. We made payments in total to the value of £11.561.54, Leaving us with a bank balance at the 31 March 2024 of £8,468.54. Page 3

The accounts have been prepared on the receipts and payments basis. underthe historical cost convention and in accordance with the charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 which are appkicable to the financialyears of registered charities beginning on or after 01 January 2016 or their date of registration with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. The charitable activities are entirely dependent on the continuation of grant aid and voluntary donations, as well as trading revenues. As a consequence. the going concern basis is ependent on thefuture flow of these uncertain funding streams. Accordingly. the Trustees. after reviewingthe financiaLforecastsfor future periods are satisfied that, atthe time of approvingthe financiaL statements, it is appropriate in adoptthe going concem basis in preparing the financial statements. Other than these matters, the Trustees are not aware of any material uncertainties about the Charivs ability to continue as a going concem. Unrestricted funds are available for use at the discretion OT the Trustees in further8nce of the general objectives of the Charity. Restricted funds are subjected to restrictions on their expenditure imposed bythe donor or through the terms of an appeal or as implied by law. TheTrustees conslder thatthe charity satisfiesthe test set out in Paragraph 1 Schedule 6 of the Finance Act 2010 for UK corporation tax purposes. Accordingly, the Charity is potentially exempt from taxation in respect of income or capitsi gains received. If upon dissolution of the Charitythere remains any assets. after satisfaction of all debts and liabilities, the assets represente(J by the accumuiate(J fun(J shall be transferred to some other charitsble body or bodies whom have similar objectives to the Charity.
