Results The Financial Ststements show a surplus in the period of £8.033 (2022 Surplus £3.500) Statu The Charity has been accepted as a charlty by the Charities Commlssion for Northern Ireland and as such no provision for taxatlon has been made. Actlvitles Charity Purpose: The purpose of FalTview Primary sch￿I.s PTA Is to support the educatlon of our puplls by developlng effecllve relationshlps between stsff and parents., to provide fun actlvllies for the pupils; anii lo fundralse for r8sources to support th8 school's decllnlng budget to advance Ihe education of our puplls. Purpos8 1: Effectlve r8latlonshlps between home and school The benefit of collaboratlve home-school relauonships 15 that it provldes positive role- modelling for puplls. It also engenders links with the local community through the families that 8ltend FalNiew Primary School. We have an active PTA that works In partn8rship wlth the school and engages parental support. On jolnlng th8 school every parent Is asked to slgn up to PTA to rec8lve emalls that provide informatlon on PTA actlvities. A lol of PTA-run actlvities need parent volunteers to run, and we ask that any parent volunteers are Access-Nl checked before they interact with pupils. Pupils enjoy seelng thelr parents at school h8lplng out and particlpallng In activitles, Purpose 2: To provlde fun actlvlties for the puplls The PTA provide a calendar of events throughout Ihe school year. These indude movie nlghts. discos, activity days and biannual fairs. We also provide raffles and qulzzes wlth opporlunities to win prlzes. PTA take a lead role in organising sports day 8nd maklng It a family fun day, providing catering for the families attendlng. Purpose 3: To fundraise for resources to support the school's decllnlng budget and to advanc8 the educatlon of our puplls The PTA aim to secure £10.000 each school year through fundraising. Thls money goes directly to school reSoUr￿S to benefit the pupils (except for explicit chailty events: Chr151ma5 Jumper day). Events such as movie nights and discos raise around £500 e8ch' falrs ralse around £2000-£2500; and Sports day raises £1000 - £1500. Raffles and tho Ilke can ralsa £100-£200 at a tiTne. Page 2

Half Tenn and Valentlne Discos A disco was held for all pupils for half term holiday In October and anothor for Valentine's Day. Both were very succEssful and well attended. Falpllew Fesllve Trall Thls large and successful event took significant planning and was hlghly pralsed and well attended. It was awarded the Mayor's Spedal Award at the local council communlty awards event. Easter Competition Guess the number of chocolate Easter Eggs in Ihe Jar. Eco Balloon Race Pupils buy and designed 8 Virtual balloon that is launched as part of an organlsed virtual race by Ecoracing. Prlzes (Ice c¥eam and plzza partles) were sponsor8d by a local buslness. Summer Falr Another succ&ssfvl Surnmer Fair whlch was w811 attended. The f8lr induded a barbecue, bouncy castles, marshmallow toasting. soak th8 teacher. a fir8 englne and firefighters, pdlce car and Olce officers and other stalls with gifts and toys to purchase. Sports Day We ran a refreshments stall and barbecue throughout the full day. 2022-2023 purchas•s and donatlons Selectlon boxes for P1- P3 pupils at Christmas Purchase of new Inleractlve whltetThrds for the school.
