The Network alm to help people both young and old that have been excluded from Ilfe chances to live fuller Ilves and partlclpate In thelr MmunIty. The tar8ét client group Is the most marginalised and socially disadvantaged resldents especially the eldetlyi youth who hang about the street corners. unemployed, chlldren from low income families. residents sufferlng from poor health and lone parents who are findlng It dlfflcult to manage on thelr own and who feel i501ated within thelr homes. Slnce March 2004, the group have secured Premises frorn the houslng assoclatlon 'Apex Housin¢ and have refurblshed the premlses by creatln8 a communal kitchen, a large meetlngltralnlnaCt[tY room and Offl accommodation. Over the past two years we have set up a ran8e of service4 activitie5 and prograrnmes for resldents of all ages wlthln our locality. The programme of actlvltles Is always flexlble enou8h so to allow for innovative proposals and the dlfferent eeds of different resldents. Residents have the opportunlty to meet new frlerbds, learn new skills. houslng advlce. take up local accesslbje tralnlng and educatlonal prozrammes and posltive parentln& healthy eatln81 peer educatlon4 youth dlverslonary proJeas• yQ4lth Club twlce weeklyi parent & toddler group. communlty art project & environmental clean up campaigns.
