Tull allen Silver Band CCNI. 102548 Trustees Annual Re ort ear endin st ust 2024 The band is governed and managed by the committee of Tullyvallen Silver Band in accordance with the band's constitution. st During the year ending 31 August 2024, the band continued to pursue its aim of promoting brass band music to fulfil its public benefit obligations. Band practices weekly throughout the year, new musical pieces have been studied and practised, which has further advanced the ability and skills of band members and added to our repertoire for playing at public events. Band instruments continue to be kept in good repair. The band committee is pleased that some members have successfully moved across the difference sections to keep the balance in the various sections and the band has gained a young addition to the band's percussion section. The band took part in an extensive range of events including concerts, church services, parades and performed for charitable organisations. The band appreciates the support it continues to receive from these organisations and the wider public. Any donations received for such engagements are voluntary. These events give the general public the opportunity to listen to, and appreciate the wide repertoire of brass band music, helping to improve both the cultural and social wellbeing of those who attend.
