ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE In the ¢UTrent econornic Climate. ￿ ¢ontinue to have ch811enging times in the Domiciliary Care sector. Cornmunlty Care hours have 5te8died somewhal allhough generally. only essential domicili3ry services are ￿adIlY available. At the beginning of this year the living wage increased by £0.92 P8F hour. This harj a very 5igniftcanl impact on the r7urnber of wages being p8id each month. Unlortunalely, the trust only In¢￿aSed the hourly r8t8 by £0.46 which left a considerable defiGIt in funding. Our Young Carers projed has conllnued with steady progress durfng the year wlth outlngs and events continuing to grow. We have be8n extremely happy wth the funding and speciff¢ grant aid ieeeived for th? Young Car8r5 Project during fhe year. Th• In Your Prlme prolect conlnues to provide suppx)rt through tho proiect. although fijnillng during thls year has been down. We are still actsvely looking for more lundlng for this project and Volunteers to eontinu8 this vital work. The Activity and Sensory Room project has grown Ihls year. With increased services due to fundlng, the ¢hildren have benefited from the Holiday ProjeGI Sch8rne funded by the LFf Trust. We ¢onth"nue to aetively 58ek to secure lulure fvnding for the Activity and SensDry Roorn to update aqulprnenl for the Chlldren. A Significant developrn8nt this year ha5 been the opening of our first Chadty shop.
