During this period, Covid restrictions were relaxing and as such more activities were able to be undertaken throughout the building. Our hygiene stands, and signage, etc remain in use to continue to ensure the safety of users of our hall. During this period we had 10 regular user groups 25 ad hoc users from Voluntary and Local Government Departs. In addition, the hall was used by Ballywalter Community Action Group to deliver the Jubilee Celebration Event and Christmas Festival. These organisations offered services for isolated older people, historical organisations, as well as running training or information workshops. In addition, the hall has 2 business units, this allows us to provide space for 2 local businesses - Barbers and Hair & Beauty Salon they between them provide employment for 6 people and deliver services to Ballywalter and the surrounding areas this saves residents the costs of travelling to Newtownards or Bangor. Ballywalter Village Hall is an integral part of the community and means that the Main Street in the village and continues to be the focal point of that area as it provides a welcoming and accessible space for community use to meet all needs.
