The organisation is established: a. to relieve conflict related trauma, distress, social isolation and to advance community reconciliation through the promotion of education and the delivery of support services to the inhabitants of South Tyrone and Dungannon Borough and adjacent western areas of Craigavon borough, in particular those persons who have suffered as a result of terrorist activities (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) without distinction of age, gender, sexuality, nationality, ethnic origin, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide support services in the interests of social welfare for recreation or personal regeneration, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
