7828 PTA Annual Re ort 2022/23 This year we h8d many events held to r8ise funds for the school. H811oween disco in October was a great ice breaker to start off the year. In December we held a Santa experience indoors and out. All the helpers dressed 8s elves. The h8ll held a very successful craft tsir. supportedbymanyfrom the community. A lot ofhelp was needed settingup 8ndorg8nisin& butit all cam8 togeth8r. Wonderfulreports b8ck from par8nts 8bout the event. A f8mily fun bingo eveningwas helddown at the Drummond hotel. Ballykelly. It W8s a packed-out event with families from the school, Ioc81 community residents and true bingo goers. This w8S 8great money mak8r. The Christmas and easter event were able to buy equipment and help set up the ABC room at school for children to have a s8f8 and calmingarea to go to. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Commission under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Acl state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's report I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act. My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters.
