In the 23124 approximately 17 adult volunteers {including Trustee$l were involved wrth YMCA Lurgan in fundratsing, programme delivery and strategic management. During the year, volunteers were recrurted for specific area$ ofwork which resulted in new volunteers joining our team. We also delivered a volunteer induction programme for our younger volunteeis aged 16-18 yr olds. with 6 young peop completing. increasing our numbef of young volunteers lo 15. This engagement ha$ enhanced our services throughout the year and extr8nwty important in tems of soeial capital and rnMUnIty Involvement. We also hosted the delivery of OCN Level 3 in Youth WorkJGood Relations partnership with Youlhlink Nl. whilst providing support for 2 of the participants involved to complete the practic element of the course through volunteer placements . Volunteering remains a key element of our programme. Thi$ year we have provided opportuntties to support young people to engage in volunteering through our Young Volunteer and Peer Mentoring progiammes. whilst support for aduli volunteering and provision of volunteering opportunitie$ continues, with over 17 adult volunteers engaging in the 23r24 period.
