Respective Responsibilities of Directors and Independent Examiner The charitys directors are responsible for the Preparation of the accounts. Having satssfied myseIf that the charity is not subject to audit under company law and is eligible for independent examination. it is my responsibility to state. on the basis of my examination. whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of Independent Examinefs Staternent My examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It aIso includ&s consideration of any unusual items or dxsclosures in the accounts. and seeking explanations from you as director5 ioncerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would ￿ required in an audiL and CODsquently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. Independent Examiner's Statement In cormectson with my examinatio￿ no matter has come to my attention: which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements: to keep proper accounttng record5 in accordance with section 386 of Companies Act 2006.. and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounling records, comply with the accounling requirements of sectton 396 of the Companies Act 2(M)6 and with the methods and principles of the Statement of Recommended Practice..
