LEANEY PRIMARY PTA TRUSTEE ANNUAL REPORT 2024 - 2025

The purposes of the Purpose1: Improved relationships between home and school
charity The benefit which flows from this purpose includes funding for
additional resources for the school and links built with the local
community. This is demonstrated through having an active PTA
that works in partnership with the school and engages parental
support.
Purpose 2: Advancing the education of pupils in the school
The benefit which flows from this purpose includes increased
educational progress and attainment of pupils in the school and
links built with the local community. This is demonstrated through
pupils having access to resources, events, activities and links
with the local community which are not available through direct
school funding.
What Leaney PTA has From Sept 2024 to June 2025 we held the following fundraising activities and
done during the year to events:
carry out its purposes * School theme day
* Summer Fair
* Mad Hair Day
* Disco
What benefits the All of the money raised was reinvested back into the school
activities of the Leaney by the following:
PTA has brought * Prizes for School Theme Days
* School Hoodies
* New School Sheds
* Harper Collins School Books
The benefits were identified and voted for by the children within
the school council
How Leaney PTA We work closely with the school to undertake risk assessments
mitigated any harm on all activities.

before permitted to help out at events
How Leaney PTA has Charity trustees (PTA committee members) are usually also
ensured that any private parents at the school which their children attend and hence gain
benefit has been incidental benefit in the same way as all other beneficiaries. This benefit is
to the public benefit incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all
beneficiaries

Statement of compliance In setting our objectives and planning our activities for the year
with regard to the ahead, the trustees have given careful consideration to the
Charity Commissions Charity Commission for Northern Ireland guidance on public
guidance benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to achieve the
charity's purposes and provide a benefit to beneficiaries.
Assets and Liabilities Other than the bank account, the Leaney Primary PTA have
no assets or liabilities.
