Activities

the objects of the charity is to promote the benefit of children and young people in the Clonard area of Belfast (hereinafter called"the area of benefit") and to educate and assist such young people through their leisure-time activities so as to develop their spiritual, physical and mental emotional capacities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and so that their conditions of life may be improved, and in particular: (i) to promote capacity building among young people from the area of benefit who are disadvantaged as a result of their social or economic circumstances in an effort to encourage them to develop confidence and self esteem and leadership skills; (ii) to raise awareness among parents of the needs of children and the value of pre-school education; (iii) to provide educational and recreational facilities out of school hours in the interest of social welfare.
