Charitable objects Tl)e charitable company was established to improve the conditions of llfe for the inhabitsnls of tli¢ Doiiglas Bridge and District Area. To achieve this object, the cliarilable company aims to advance education and provide facil ities, in tli¢ interest of social welfare, for recreation or other leisure-time occupation for the inhabilaiils of tlie area. They aim to acliieve this through participation of statutory bodies, voluntary organisations and indeed the inhabitaiits themselves. Tlie trustees are not aware of any events likely to occur in the twelve montlis following the dat¢ of the approval of th¢ financial stal¢ineiits that may impact on tlie charitable compaiiy's ability to coiitinue as a going concern. We b¢lieve tlial it is therefore appropriat¢ for the charitabl¢ company's financial statements for the year ended 31 Deceinber 2022 to have been prepared on a going concem basis.
