language, history and culture of Bangladesh.

inhabitants of Tower Hamlets in particular among
Bangladeshi people in Isle of Dogs area by the
provision of training to enable such persons to
obtain employment.
2.4 To provide or assist in the provision
of facilities for the recreation of other leisure time
occupation for the inhabitants of Isle of Dogs
area in the interests of social welfare with the
object of improving their conditions of life.
2.5 Employ and pay any person(s) not
being members of the Executive Committee to
supervise, organize and carry on the work of the
Association.
2.6 Cause to be written and printed or
otherwise reproduced and circulated, gratuitously
or otherwise, such papers, books, periodicals,
pamphlets or other documents as shall further
the said objects.
2.7 Purchase, take on lease or in
exchange, hire or otherwise acquire any rights
and privileges necessary for the promotion of the
said objects and construct, maintain and alter
any buildings or erections necessary for the work
of the Association.
2.8 Make regulations for any property,
which may be so acquired.
2.9 Subject to such consents as may be
required by law, sell, let, mortgage, dispose of or
turn into account all or any of the property or
assets of the Association.
2.10 Subject to such consents as may be
required by law, borrow or raise money for the
said objects and accepts gifts of such terms and
on such security as shall be deemed to be
necessary.
2.11 Raise funds and invite and receive
contributions from any person or persons
whatsoever by way of subscription and otherwise
PROVIDED THAT the Association shall deem it
to be necessary.
2.12 Raise funds from public by way of
‘charity appeal’ for helping the poor people in
Bangladesh during flood or other natural
disasters on a pure humanitarian intention and
not for promoting any religion or religious
activities.
2.13 Invest the money of the Association
not immediately required for the said objects in or
upon such investments, securities or property as
may be thought fit, subject nevertheless to such
conditions (if any) as may for the time being
imposed or required by law.
2.14 Do all such other lawful things or
activities as necessary for the attainment of the
said objects.
