|Summary of the purposes of<br>the charity as set out in its<br>governing document|Para 1.17|2.1               To relieve poverty by the provision of<br>information, advice, counselling and sign posting.<br>2.2               To advance education in the<br>language, history and culture of Bangladesh.<br>2.3               To advance education amongst the<br>inhabitants of Tower Hamlets in particular among<br>Bangladeshi people in Isle of Dogs area by the<br>provision of training to enable such persons to<br>obtain employment.<br>2.4               To provide or assist in the provision<br>of facilities for the recreation of other leisure time<br>occupation for the inhabitants of Isle of Dogs<br>area in the interests of social welfare with the<br>object of improving their conditions of life.<br>2.5               Employ and pay any person(s) not<br>being members of the Executive Committee to<br>supervise, organize and carry on the work of the<br>Association.<br>2.6               Cause to be written and printed or<br>otherwise reproduced and circulated, gratuitously<br>or otherwise, such papers, books, periodicals,<br>pamphlets or other documents as shall further<br>the said objects.<br>2.7               Purchase, take on lease or in<br>exchange, hire or otherwise acquire any rights<br>and privileges necessary for the promotion of the<br>said objects and construct, maintain and alter<br>any buildings or erections necessary for the work<br>of the Association.<br>2.8               Make regulations for any property,<br>which may be so acquired.<br>2.9               Subject to such consents as may be<br>required by law, sell, let, mortgage, dispose of or<br>turn into account all or any of the property or<br>assets of the Association.<br>2.10            Subject to such consents as may be|
