GOLD PARK, MUNDESLEY TRUSTEES, REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31 MARCH 2025 The Trustees present their report and accounts for the year ending 31st March 2025. Strurture. governance and management The charlty's governlng document Is Its constltutfon adopted 24 Aprll 1939. The Charlty was registered in 1939 and re-registered with the Charity Commission on 22 May 1990 (charity number 803090). The charity's objectives are to provide open space and pleasure grounds and gardens for public use. Income is generated by raising funds from car parking. Financial revlew and reserves pollcy During the year income has amounted to £116,234 in comparison to the prior year of £51,897. Payments amounted to £104,904 (2024: £44,412). Funds at 31 March 2025 were £75,977 (2024: £64,648). Although there is no formal policy in place the charity reviews the level of funds available on a regular basis. Achlevements and performance The charity owns and maintains, for public benefit, Gold Park, a free to use public park located in Mundesley. The activlty has continued throughout the year, as did the car park income from Gold Park. Activities in the year included: maintenance of the park, repalrs to the Play Area and free events for the public, including a Platinum Jubilee Party and an Outdoor Cinema. Publlc Benefit The Trustees confirm that they have complled wlth thelr duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the Commisslon in exercising their powers or duties. I have audited the following from the books and records supplied to me. l. Proper Bookkeeping I checked the payments and receipts from the cashbook to the invoices/documentation. Also checked the payments and receipts with the bank statements. Reviewed invoices for unusual items. 2. Budgetary Controls Has been carried out. 3. Income Controls Reviewed receipt of NNDC car park share and other income during the year. 4. Payroll Controls Not applicable. 5. Asset Controls Not applicable. 6. Bank Reconciliation A bank reconaliation has been carried out. I have found the records to be satisfactory. General Notes Basis of accounting: The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis; accordingly no account15 taken of amounts payable or receivable at the period end. The charity accounting records and funds have been separated from the accounts of Mundesley On Sea Parish Council, Gold Park has its own separate bank accounts. 2. Contributions to Mundesley On Sea Parlsh Councll to Operate Gold Park Gold Park pays a contribution to Mundesley On Sea Parish Council towards the cost of insurance, administration and office costs. 3. Staff Costs The charity currently employs no staff. As such no employee was paid over £60,000 in the current or preceding year. Page 9 of9
