The objective of the Esher Church School Association is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:

Developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school; and

Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.
In deciding which activities to run during FY2024/2025, the trustees of the Association have considered the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. All of these events are open equally to the public and well as staff, parents and pupils of Esher Church School. A number of fundraising activities have been undertaken including the following:
- Christmas Bazaar 2. Quiz Night 3. Summer Fair 4. Summer Ball 5. Esher Fun Run

Section D Achievements and performance
The money raised by the Association over the last year has been used Summary of the main during the year in a variety of ways, in order to meet the objectives stated achievements of the charity above. during the year
The main improvements to the school learning environment that the Association has supported this year was funding of new learning resources including IT equipment, science resources, playground resources, library books and drama resources.
The Association has been able to provide facilities, equipment and support to the school for the benefit of the pupils, including a number of smaller purchases such as: • Year 6 Prom • Christmas lunch for the children • Gazebo

Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves
The reserves policy of the charity is not to maintain significant levels of reserves on a long-term basis. Money raised by the activities of the charity should be spent in accordance with the objectives of the charity with a reasonable period following receipt of the income Notwithstanding the above, the available reserves of the charity (after taking into consideration contracted expenditure and commitments) should not fall below £1,000 or 2.5% of the total income generated by the charity in the preceding financial year (whichever is higher).
