published relevant book titles & been
instrumental in enabling many more
publications. Our Journal ‘Knotting
Matters’, our Forum, Website & social
media posts have raised awareness of
knotting & associated crafts to a wider
audience, as well as developing the skills
of our membership. Local groups meet
regularly for knotting activities and
exchange of information. Members have
attended many public events where
knotting & rope are involved, offering on-
the-spot training of individuals in basic knot
tying skills and ropemaking. Our Library is
now located at the Brunel Institute & is
accessible by the public. We have provided
specific skills training to organisations on
request at no cost to them. We provide
bursaries to individuals to cover costs in
their pursuit of our aims.
