Tiffin School Parents’ Association
Report of the Trustees for the year ending August 31, 2023
The Tiffin Parents’ Association Charity present their annual report and audited via independent review accounts for the year ended August 31[st] 2023 and confirm they comply with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011, the trust deed and the Charities SORP (FRS 102).
OUR AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The object of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils in Tiffin School. In furtherance of this object the Association may:

a) Develop, increase and/or extend relationships between the staff, parents and other individuals, or organisations, associated with the School;
-
b) Engage in activities which support the School and/or advance the education and development of the boys attending it; and
-
c) Provide and/or assist in the provision of facilities for education at the School, either to augment or to supplement those normally provided by the Local Education Authority (and/or its successors and associate bodies corporate).
REVIEW OF ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Fundraising Events
This year ending August 31[st] 2023 our funds have been raised from
-
second-hand uniform sales
-
social events e.g. Quiz and Comedy nights, and providing food stalls for Musical event Tiffin in the Garden
-
and sponsored fund-raising events (e.g. RideLondon cycle 2023).
-
we also benefit from the National EasyFundraising shopping scheme.
Our total income from all charitable events was £26, 680
We have given a grant to the school in the same financial year to fund the Cricket equipment for £5,990
FUTURE PLANS
We intend to continue supporting the school by further fund raising social and sponsored events and uniform sales. We continue liaise with the school to determine the best way to spend all money raised for the educational and developmental benefits of the pupils.

The financial statements show incoming resources for the year on School activities is £26, 736

Report to the trustees
Charity Name TIFFIN SCHOOL PARENTS ASSOCIATION
On accounts for the year 31 August 2023 Charity no 800357 ended (if any) Set out on pages (remember to include the page numbers of additional sheets) I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/ 08 / 2023 . Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that disclosed below *) which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
-
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
-
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
