Para 1.20 | The Preschool continues to enhance the learning opportunities of young children aged 2-4 years allowing them to develop and thrive to their full potential. Visits into the setting to enhance the children’s learning have continued this year and have included parents and local community members who work in positions that help eg the fire service, police, veterinary nurses and dentists. A Christmas party, carol singing, and sports day were held again with families invited into the setting to watch. The Preschool works closely with the local primary school to facilitate smooth effective transitions for the children. Including visits to the feeder primary school along with visits to the setting by the reception teaching staff. |
