Visits into<br>the setting to enhance the children’s<br>learning have continued this year and have<br>included parents and local community<br>members who work in positions that help<br>eg the fire service, police, veterinary nurses<br>and dentists. A Christmas party, carol<br>singing, and sports day were held again<br>with families invited into the setting to<br>watch.<br>The Preschool works closely with the local<br>primary school to facilitate smooth effective<br>transitions for the children. Including visits<br>to the feeder primary school along with<br>visits to the setting by the reception<br>teaching staff.|
