There are monthly quiz nights and an outside ‘trim trail’ is available for villagers’ use. |

Para 1.20 | The charity continues to make itself available for activities which may be run to benefit the inhabitants. Its popularity increases as we continue to improve facilities. Many villagers now come to the site just to enjoy the playing fields. The field is well used by dog walkers, many of whom are elderly and find difficulty walking. The field is adjacent to the village fishing lake, whose members use the hall for meetings. We make ourselves available for to other charities to hold fundraising events e.g Ryedale Special Families who use or facilities as part of a 2-day cycle event. A similar music event was planned but was cancelled due to Covid. The members have liaised with the FA regarding field improvements and work with them to improve and maintain the playing fields. |

The sports fields have benefitted from 'tining', moss/weed killing and appllcation of fertilizer so as to improve playing surfaces. Astro turf tennis/football Surfa has been cleaned and re-juvenated to ensure longer Ilfe. Flood lamps have been seNlced and malntained to ensure they comply with H & S rules and glve longer Ilfe for use durlng the evenlng. Chlldren's soft play takes place 2, 112 days a week, when posslble. There is a weekly whist drive, usually attended by more senlor cltizens. A qulz nlght every month. New Senlors Youth club providlng mixed social and sportlng actlvlty for'senlors, Hall used regularly for children, partles and meetings. A new fitness class Is held on a weekly basis, Use of hall by furnlture restorlng group, Table Tennis nlghts Soclal coffee mornlngs developed by members of the local rellglous groups Financial Review It is the aim of the Executlve Committee to retsin one years, core running costs in the unrestricted general fund to ensure a sufficlent buffer to enable effettive financlal decision-making, rather than short term decisions and the charity wlll work towards achieving this.

In accordance with the Charity Commission Guidance the Trustees have eletted to prepare the accounts on the Receipts and Payments basis. This is an acptable format for all non-company charities with an income below £250,000. The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which dlsclose wlth reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financlal statements comply with the Charities Att 2011. The Trustees are also responslble for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detectlon of fraud and other irregularities. The Football Foundatlon contributed 750/0 of the costs, wlth Hutton Cranswick Sport and Recreation Association required to provide 25 % match. East Riding Yorkshire Council - Active Creative Grant A grant for £1,345 was received from East Riding Yorkshire Council to help support Sport, Play and Arts related activity. Hutton Cranswlck Warrlors Football Restrlcted funding of £2,000 was received in the prlor year from Tesco Bags of Help in adminlstered by Groundworks towards the Hutton Cranswlck Warrlors Football Teams Sn 2019, there has been no expendlture against thls during the year. New Bulld - Brick Appeal Hutton Cranswlck Sports and Recreatlon Associatlon are raising fund5 for the purpose of building a new purpose bullt modern bulldlng to enable them to enhance the faclllties and offer a greater cholce of attlvltles. Fundralsing for this was started off wlth an appeal whereby people and organlsations could sponsor a brick and have their name engraved. Thls ralsed £150 durlng the year. New Bulld - Donatlon A £5,000 donation was recelved from JS & EC Rymer Charltable Trust, to contribute towards funds to build a new purpose built modern building. Taxatlon Hutton CranswSck Sport and Recreation Association is a registered charlty. All the associations, income is applied to its charitable objettlves and the associatlon is therefore exempt under current legislation from most forms of taxation. The charity is not VAT reglstered and all expenditure Includes Irrecoverable VAT. Trustee Remuneration No remuneration direttly or indirectly out of the funds of the charlty was pald or payable for the year to any Trustee. There was reimbursement of travel expenses amounting to £105 paid to 2 Trustees (2019: £110 for 2 Trustee) In respect of the year. 17

Tennis teams of mixed sex and age. An archery section of mixed sex and age. A cricket sectlon wlth one team of mixed age groups. Developed a club for sporting and social activities for'seniors,. The sports fields have benefitted from 'tining', moss/weed killing and appllcation of fertilizer so as to improve playing surfaces. Astro turf tennis/football Surfa has been cleaned and re-juvenated to ensure longer Ilfe. Flood lamps have been seNlced and malntained to ensure they comply with H & S rules and glve longer Ilfe for use durlng the evenlng. Chlldren's soft play takes place 2, 112 days a week, when posslble. There is a weekly whist drive, usually attended by more senlor cltizens. A qulz nlght every month. New Senlors Youth club providlng mixed social and sportlng actlvlty for'senlors, Hall used regularly for children, partles and meetings. A new fitness class Is held on a weekly basis, Use of hall by furnlture restorlng group, Table Tennis nlghts Soclal coffee mornlngs developed by members of the local rellglous groups Financial Review It is the aim of the Executlve Committee to retsin one years, core running costs in the unrestricted general fund to ensure a sufficlent buffer to enable effettive financlal decision-making, rather than short term decisions and the charity wlll work towards achieving this.

The Football Foundatlon contributed 750/0 of the costs, wlth Hutton Cranswick Sport and Recreation Association required to provide 25 % match. East Riding Yorkshire Council - Active Creative Grant A grant for £1,345 was received from East Riding Yorkshire Council to help support Sport, Play and Arts related activity. Hutton Cranswlck Warrlors Football Restrlcted funding of £2,000 was received in the prlor year from Tesco Bags of Help in adminlstered by Groundworks towards the Hutton Cranswlck Warrlors Football Teams Sn 2019, there has been no expendlture against thls during the year. New Bulld - Brick Appeal Hutton Cranswlck Sports and Recreatlon Associatlon are raising fund5 for the purpose of building a new purpose bullt modern bulldlng to enable them to enhance the faclllties and offer a greater cholce of attlvltles. Fundralsing for this was started off wlth an appeal whereby people and organlsations could sponsor a brick and have their name engraved. Thls ralsed £150 durlng the year. New Bulld - Donatlon A £5,000 donation was recelved from JS & EC Rymer Charltable Trust, to contribute towards funds to build a new purpose built modern building. Taxatlon Hutton CranswSck Sport and Recreation Association is a registered charlty. All the associations, income is applied to its charitable objettlves and the associatlon is therefore exempt under current legislation from most forms of taxation. The charity is not VAT reglstered and all expenditure Includes Irrecoverable VAT. Trustee Remuneration No remuneration direttly or indirectly out of the funds of the charlty was pald or payable for the year to any Trustee. There was reimbursement of travel expenses amounting to £105 paid to 2 Trustees (2019: £110 for 2 Trustee) In respect of the year. 17
