To raise the necessary funds to keèp the building and its contents in good working condition. To continue to keep it atthe heart of the wllage life, forthe benefft of all the local community and to enhance the facllltles available to bring forward a better quality of life for the community. The H311 was onty open for 11 weeks, during the 52 week year, and then on a very restricted basis. Covid secure procedures were in opèrntion atall times. The major bequest from Betty Cottam and HMG Business wpport grants have been extremely welcome and more than made up for the shortfa15 in hirin8 fee5. Whilst it could not happen without such a strong team I must commend Mike Ashton. Carol Wolfenden and the officers ofthe Management Committee. I need also to expres5 my gratitude to Sharman Robinson, our Bookings Secretary, for her commitment to such a huge and time consuming operation that is so vital to the SU5$1 running of the Village Hall. It IS the fervent hope of us a15 that the Community cent will be pemiitted to resume its central place wf(hin village life as soon a5 Safely possible after the present enforced closure due to the CoMd-19 pandemic has ended.
