Objcctiyes The object of the charity is to m2intain and enhance the Ci)oper Art Collection, make it accessible to the g¢neral public and to encourage and promote art generally in the Barnsley Metropolitan Distt'ÈLt. In preparing those financial statements. the trustees are requir¢d to s¢le¢t suitable accounting policies and then apply them con5iStently, making judgements and estimates that are reasonably PTudent. The trustees must also prepare the financial statements on the going concem basis unless it is inappTopriat¢ to presume that the charity will continue its 8ctiviti¢s. The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which dis¢lose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable thetn to ensure that th¢ fmancial statements comply with the Charities Act 2011 and the Charity (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008.
