Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The trustees have run the building (The Old Grammar School) to meet our charitable objectives. The building houses Whalley Pre-School (Registered Charity 1024628) which provides low cost Pre-School education for the children within our area. The building is also used by many community groups for educational, recreational and social purposes at low cost. The trustees have undertaken a major renovation of the Main Hall this year to enable us to better meet our charitable objectives and ensure the long-term viability of our charity. This has included a new boiler and radiators, additional toilet facilities for children, new hall floor and preschool storage area.
