Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
Four successful applicants from the 2021 AGM had received £435, £400, £150 and £49 respectively. They had also provided proof of purchases. A further candidate had been granted £2,000 to attend the Under 21 Lacrosse Championship held in Limerick, Ireland. Due to the Covid pandemic the Championships had been postponed in 2019, 2020 and 2021, but went ahead in August 2022. The candidate represented the England National Team and was deemed to be one of the outstanding players of the tournament.
The Trustees were also able to split funds received from a legacy between the CCLA and a low to medium risk managed fund.
