Inspiring 'In planning our activities for the year, we kept in mind the Charities Commi55ion's guidance on public benefit at our trustee's meetings. We have a total of £74,695.97 This year was slightly easier than last year we were able to start meeting face to face and some groups started doing this after the summer by meeting outside. Some units continued to meet on zoom for part of the time. Most units are now up and running again wtth some just starting back in the summerterm. We continued to hold exec meetings over zoom. We had a trip to the cinema to See the new Disney film Encanto at a specral showing just for Girlguiding. We have a total of 462 girls and 115 volunteer5 this is down on previous numbers due to the year that we have had. Our County virtual 'badge in a night. sessions for Rainbows, Brownies. Guides and Seniors, have continued once a month and which have been very popular. and the badges have been a boost to the girls. They have included a session by Riverfs Rodents and Reptiles. For the first time we held our Thinking day virtually. We had a virtual sleetyjver on 19th and 20 February and then on 22.02.2022 at 20-.22 we all renewed our promises over zoom. The girls have really enjoyed these opportunities to meet together. We have used this time to update the facilities at Felin Bach and we are all looking forward to using the new facilities now we are able to have residentials again. We had a woodland day in April where we planted trees in Felin Bach for the Queen's Green Canopy. We held an awards afternoon in Conwy golf club and it was nice for everyone to get together again. Queen's Platinum Jubilee ￿lebratIonS beacon. We held an official beacon event on Thursday 2 June, where girls came wÉth their families to enjoy some fun activities then watch the beacon bonfiie be light at the same time as others acr05S the country. nd The AGM is in November and will be held over zoom.

Looking ahead to the next Guiding year we have a county trip to Chester Zoo booked for 8 October 2022. Thi5 will be for all sections We are 3150 hoping to have another cinema experience watching the new Matilda film, and also a trip to the Santa Train. INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORTTOTHETRUSTEES OF GIRLGUIDING C4ERNARFONSHIRE I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 August 2022, which are set out on pages 3 to 4. Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner The charity's trustees are responsible tor the preparation ot the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for thi5 year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Actll and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibiltty to.. examine the accounts under settion 145 of the 2011 Act- to follow the procedure5 laid down in the General Dirertions given by the Charity Commi$5ion under sertion 14515llbl of the 2011 Act,. and to stale whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examinerfs report My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charty Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any Such matter5. The procedu￿5 undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be reqtsired in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. Independent examinerfs 5tstement In connection with my examination, no material matters have come to my attentron which gives me cause to believe that in. any material respect= the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the CharitÈè5 Act,. or the accounts did not accord with the accounting records,- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the fomi and content of accounts set out in the Charrties (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fairf view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination. I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connertion with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this rep)rt in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
