This year was slightly easier than last year we were able to start meeting face to face and some
groups started doing this after the summer by meeting outside. Some units continued to meet on

the summerterm.
We continued to hold exec meetings over zoom.
We had a trip to the cinema to See the new Disney film Encanto at a specral showing just for
Girlguiding.
We have a total of 462 girls and 115 volunteer5 this is down on previous numbers due to the year
that we have had.
Our County virtual 'badge in a night. sessions for Rainbows, Brownies. Guides and Seniors, have
continued once a month and which have been very popular. and the badges have been a boost to
the girls. They have included a session by Riverfs Rodents and Reptiles.
For the first time we held our Thinking day virtually. We had a virtual sleetyjver on 19th and 20
February and then on 22.02.2022 at 20-.22 we all renewed our promises over zoom. The girls have
really enjoyed these opportunities to meet together.
We have used this time to update the facilities at Felin Bach and we are all looking forward to using
the new facilities now we are able to have residentials again.
We had a woodland day in April where we planted trees in Felin Bach for the Queen's Green Canopy.
We held an awards afternoon in Conwy golf club and it was nice for everyone to get together again.
Queen's Platinum Jubilee ￿lebratIonS beacon. We held an official beacon event on Thursday 2

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORTTOTHETRUSTEES OF GIRLGUIDING C4ERNARFONSHIRE
I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 August 2022, which are set out on
pages 3 to 4.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charity's trustees are responsible tor the preparation ot the accounts. The charity's trustees
consider that an audit is not required for thi5 year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the
2011 Actll and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibiltty to..
examine the accounts under settion 145 of the 2011 Act-
to follow the procedure5 laid down in the General Dirertions given by the Charity
Commi$5ion under sertion 14515llbl of the 2011 Act,. and
to stale whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examinerfs report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charty
Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any
unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees
concerning any Such matter5. The procedu￿5 undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would
be reqtsired in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the
accounts.
Independent examinerfs 5tstement
In connection with my examination, no material matters have come to my attentron which gives me
cause to believe that in. any material respect=
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the CharitÈè5 Act,. or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records,-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the fomi and
content of accounts set out in the Charrties (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other
than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fairf view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connertion with the examination to
which attention should be drawn in this rep)rt in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.
