Inclusive, Inspiring "In planning our activities for the year. we kept in mind the Charities Commission's guidance on public benefit at our trustee's meetings." We have a total of £89759.04 This year has been a difficult year and very different to any that we have ever experienced before in our history so far. All meetings ended In March following guidance from Head Quarters and we have been receiving em3115 Wtth the Government guidance for Wales on a regular basis. We have a total of 51 unrts. 264 girls and 124 volunteers this is down on previous numbers due to the year that we have had. We have tried to keep in touch with our members using different methods to before. Many units have been running sessh7ns via zoomlmicrosoft teams to some of their members. we have also had some member5 who have left because of the present situation. As a county we decided to reduce our subscription so as to help families who were struggling during this difficult time. We have been holding our exec meetingsvia zoom and ourAGM. Some members Set up County virtual 'badge in a nighy sessions for Rainbow5. Brownies, Guides and Seniors, once a month and which have been very popular. and the badge5 have been a boost to the We had a virtual sleepover in the August, called 'Unstoppable Heroes,. and even managed a virtual campfire, which was great fun. We set a summer challenge for all members and resources were sent out to all the young members in the county. We also had a virtual funday at Christmas which included watching Peter Duncan's virtual panto which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who participated. Some units have managed a few face to face meetings outside during the better weather. We had a face to face thanks event in Felin Bach during July where leaders were awarded long service awards and were able to enjoy a barbeque together.

Looking ahead to next year we are all looking forward to hopefully being able to finally have meetings indoors. and hope to do some recruitment events to encourage girls to join Girlguiding. We have used this time to update the facilitÉes at Felin Bach and we are all looking forward to using the new facilities when we are able to have residentials again. During the next financial year we will still be holding our virtual badge in o night sessions and our virtual unit will still be meetin8 until all leaders feel conl￿ent to go back to meeting face to face and our venues allow us to meet. INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORTTOTHETRUSTEES OFGIRLGUIDING CAERNARFONSHIRE I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 August 2021. which are set out on pages 4 to 5. Respective responsibilities of trustee5 and examiner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The chariws tnjstees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Actll and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibiltty to.. examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Art,- to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the 2011 Att- and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examinerfs report My examination wa5 carried out in accordance with the General Directions Eiven by the Charitv Commission. An examinatiorb includes a revFew of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedijres undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. Independent exarninerfs statement In connection with my examFnation, no material matters have come to my attention which gDies me cause to believe that in. any material re5pect= the accounting records were not kept in accordance with settton 130 of the Charities Act- or the accounts did not accord with the accounting records. the accounts did not compty with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Chartties IAccounts and Report51 Regulations 2008 other than any reqLJirement that the accounts give a 'true and fairf view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
