"In planning our activities for the year. we kept in mind the Charities Commission's guidance on
public benefit at our trustee's meetings."
We have a total of £89759.04
This year has been a difficult year and very different to any that we have ever experienced before in
our history so far. All meetings ended In March following guidance from Head Quarters and we have
been receiving em3115 Wtth the Government guidance for Wales on a regular basis.
We have a total of 51 unrts. 264 girls and 124 volunteers this is down on previous numbers due to
the year that we have had.
We have tried to keep in touch with our members using different methods to before. Many units
have been running sessh7ns via zoomlmicrosoft teams to some of their members. we have also had
some member5 who have left because of the present situation. As a county we decided to reduce
our subscription so as to help families who were struggling during this difficult time.
We have been holding our exec meetingsvia zoom and ourAGM.
Some members Set up County virtual 'badge in a nighy sessions for Rainbow5. Brownies, Guides and
Seniors, once a month and which have been very popular. and the badge5 have been a boost to the
We had a virtual sleepover in the August, called 'Unstoppable Heroes,. and even managed a virtual
campfire, which was great fun.
We set a summer challenge for all members and resources were sent out to all the young members
in the county.
We also had a virtual funday at Christmas which included watching Peter Duncan's virtual panto
which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who participated.
Some units have managed a few face to face meetings outside during the better weather.
We had a face to face thanks event in Felin Bach during July where leaders were awarded long
service awards and were able to enjoy a barbeque together.

Looking ahead to next year we are all looking forward to hopefully being able to finally have
meetings indoors. and hope to do some recruitment events to encourage girls to join Girlguiding.
We have used this time to update the facilitÉes at Felin Bach and we are all looking forward to using
the new facilities when we are able to have residentials again.
During the next financial year we will still be holding our virtual badge in o night sessions and our
virtual unit will still be meetin8 until all leaders feel conl￿ent to go back to meeting face to face and
our venues allow us to meet.
