Para 1.20 Our 4 sections (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and
Explorers) have been returning to capacity
again after the fall in membership following
the Covid-19 pandemic. The new building
opened fully at the start of the Summer
term in April 2021, and we have been
running 4 section meetings a week over the
year in the building.
Work has been continuing to complete
work on the building, including the
installation of the kitchen and the fitting of
acoustic panels to the ceiling in the main
hall to improve the acoustics.

Para 1.41 N/A
Performance of fundraising
activities against objectives
set
Para 1.41 We set a target of covering the additional
running costs for the building through
income from lettings to other community
groups and activities. We now have regular
long term bookings from a ballet group (2
days a week) and a yoga group (2
mornings a week), which more than cover
our additional running costs. Overall, this
income has allowed us to cover the higher
running and insurance costs for the new
building and allow us to continue to make
improvements.
