and visitors alike for fitness classes, art,
local history and social groups as well
as private family celebrations.
The village school uses the facilities for
sports day, PE lessons and as quiet
location for SATs tests.
The village toddler group (Little Acorns)
meet in the hall weekly in term-time.
The hall is used as an outreach post
office one morning a week, from
October to March followed by a soup

charities. The hall is also used as a
polling station when there is an election.

The thirty year old childrens playground is increasingly requiring expensive maintenance and the major project for the year has been to raise funds for its replacement. Each year the Community Centre has a Village Gala, and in 2022 there was also the Platinum jubilee celebration with an afternoon tea on the field and in the hall, such events bring all ages together.
