Achievements and Performance During ihe year. the trustÈes ensured that all Co¥id-19 guidanie was followed to enablÈ a returnto full unir operations following cledOWn and operationalty restriaed periods. Also during the period, the Beaver5 and Cub5 unitswere able to recOrnMen as new leaders and volvnteer5 were identified arTrd joineti the group_ In April 2022. planning permi$5ion w35 obtained for ihe new group bttilding and temis wère agreed with Derby City Council for a long term lease on the area of ground to be used forconstruttion. Further reserves have been built up in recÈnt year5 in preparatyon for the con5truaion of a new group building as the lease on the gfcund currently used will not be exiended on a long terrn basis. These extra funds, together with sienificant additional grants to be sourced, a¥e expecred to be utili5ed during the next two to three years asthe projert is completed.
