COVID pandemic, the Group were able
to continue to provide a stimulating
programme for the young people.
Where necessary, the meetings were
held virtually and when permitted by the
Scout Association, meetings were held
in the grounds of the Group
Headquarters. As the restrictions
reduced, the group returned to indoor
meetings, although with social
distancing.
The members continued to pass from
one section to the next, whilst the Scout
section passed the young people to the
District Explorer Scout Unit.
Whilst many activities had to be
modified, the group still managed to
hold virtual camps where young people
slept in their gardens

reduced as the HQ could not be utilised

Borough Council means that we have a
larger than usual reserve. Our figures of

Gift Aid brings in a protion of our income to run the headquarters. Again it costs nothing. All you h if you are a tax payer is fill in / sign a gift aid form and we can claim 25p of every £1 of subs back 3. Yet again this year there will be no Scout Post one of our biggest fundraisers. We usually get ab although we seem to have a lot in the bank accounts, but we have a lot to still pay out for in upgr maintaining the HQ

I have reviewed the accounting records kept by the 7[th] Wallasey Scout Group and I have found no discrepancies within the accounts for the income and expenditure for the year ending 30/09/2021. All records to support my examination were provided.
