Toial expenditure for the Group increased by 15.6% to £172.8m {2023.. £149.5m}. As a result ol emtfaordinary income relatinB to the acquisition of Inspire and income received Irom investing activities the Group has recorded net incomeof £3.6m.

On 31 July 2024, Comfflunity Inte8raled Care acquired Inspire whlch continues lo operate as a subsidiaTY of the Group. Inspires net assets were consolidaied at Group level. re5ultin8 in a one off £2.4m donation lo Communily Integrated Care. The additional pay invested by the charity hasn't been universally covered by Local Authority and Inie8rated Cafe 8oard Commissioners, leavin8 a lundiTr8 shortfall. In addition to this, Ihe incfease in inflation over the lasi two years left the charity exposed to a limin8 differen¢e in the lunding allocated lor non.Ironi4ine cosis and ihe actual expense.
