Summary of the Objects of the Charity To promote for the beneft of the inhabitants of Carno Electoral District
set out in its Governing Document: and the surrounding area, facilites in the interests of social, educatonal,
recreatonal and leisure-tme with the object of improving the quality of
life for local community.
Summary of the main actvites The prime actvity of the Associaton is to ensure the successful
undertaken for the public beneft in management of the Community Centre and the recreaton facilites
relaton to those objectves: associated with the Ty Brith Field. This contnues to be successful
undertaken by the Community Centre sub-commitee with a wide range of
actvites being made available.
Additonal details of Objectves & The Trustees wish to acknowledge the contributon of the members of its
Actvites: sub-commitee the Carno Community Centre Management Commitee.
The Trustees also wishes to record the contributon made by its
Administrator.
Secton D: Achievements & Performance.
Summary of the main achievements of The impact of the Covid Pandemic contnued to be felt and impact on the
the charity during the 2021/2022 year: Charity to efectvely operate.
2021/2022 (reported on in the 2020/2021 Report) saw the completon of the new
children’ playground which opened in December 2020 much to the delight
of the younger members of our community. The project was only possible
due to the close co-operaton between the Associaton and the
Community Council who now have responsibility for its management.
Secton E: Financial Review.
Brief statement of the Charity’s policy Given the manner in which the Charity operates, there is never a need to
on Reserves: hold signifcant reserves.

defcit:
Not applicable.
Further Financial Review details: The Charity does not seek to source funding on a regularly basis, seeking
funding when projects arise.
Regular payments are stll being credited from the Ofgem RHI Initatve
which are passed to the Associaton’s sub-commitee the Community
Centre Management Commitee to help with the day-to-day management
operaton of the Centre.

The Association has been working towards becoming am Incorporated charity.
