The tmstees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statem¢nl of Recommended Practicc applicable to Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financia] Rewrting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l January 2019). OBJECTIVES AIW ACTIvrriES Objecttves gDd aims Thc principal objective of the organi5ation is to provide employment and training lor people predominantly SY>m Ihe BME ¢ommunity. The objects are to improve the employability of people, primarily from the BME comtnunity. This is a recognition that people from the BME community are not a]ways represented in ternis of employment with local authorities. The organisation operal¢s in Nottingham City and County. Principal aclivities The principal a¢livities are as follows- a) Work strategica]ly with training providers and other parthers. b) Maintain links with locaI, regional and national training networks and govemment bodies. c) Enhan¢e the SUPEK)rt services for training by introducing individual tailored support plans and life skills. d) Aspire to a vision of society in which young b1k and minority ethnic (BME) people are able to compete for nployTnent. FINANCIAL REVIEW Investment policy and objectives The Articles ol the organisation authorise the trustees to make and hold investments using the gener8J fimds of the charity, but no such investments are presently held. Going concern There are no current concems over going concern but the organisation will be looking for additiona] ndIng for 2024125 onwards. FirruRE PLANS The organisation continues to provide training and e]nployment opw>rtunities for young people aged 16-18 &8 well as supplying apprenticeships for those aged 1&24. STRUCTU GOVERNANCE AND WAGEMENr Governing document The charity is controlled by its goveming documenL a deed of trust. and ConstiteS a Itmited Company, limited by guaromtee, as defined by the Companies Act 2006. The truslets monitor the major strategiG business and operationa] risks which the Charity faces to ensure that systems arc adequate to mitigate these risks. The trustees delegate the day-to-day responsibility for managing thc pu)jects lo the chief executive and staff.
